About Pure Gold Health & Wellness
How do I know this is a reputable company?
At our telemedicine clinic, safety and quality are our top priorities. We are committed to providing responsible weight loss solutions. Our medical team consists of licensed healthcare professionals experienced in weight management. We adhere to strict medical guidelines and ethical practices. Furthermore, we believe in transparency and are always available to answer any questions you may have about our services and the medications we prescribe. We aim to build a trusting relationship with our patients, ensuring they feel confident and supported throughout their weight loss journey.
How does your telemedicine clinic save me time and money?
Our telemedicine clinic saves you time and money by offering a convenient telehealth platform. This means you can consult with our medical providers from the comfort of your home, eliminating the need for travel time and expenses associated with in-person doctor visits. Our transparent pricing structure also ensures no hidden fees or subscriptions, allowing you to budget effectively for your treatment. We also work to provide affordable medication options, and by shipping directly to your home, we save you trips to the pharmacy.
How is this different from a regular doctor’s office visit?
Our approach differs from a traditional doctor’s office visit in several ways. Firstly, we operate primarily through telehealth, offering consultations and follow-ups remotely via secure online channels. This provides greater flexibility and accessibility for our patients. Secondly, we specialize specifically in weight loss treatments, allowing us to focus our expertise and resources on providing the most effective solutions in this area. While a regular doctor’s office provides a broad range of medical services, our specialized focus allows for a more tailored and in-depth approach to weight management.
Is this a subscription service?
No, our programs are not a subscription service. We believe in providing care tailored to your individual needs and preferences. You can schedule consultations and order medications as needed, without being tied to any recurring fees or commitments. This approach offers you greater flexibility and control over your weight loss journey, ensuring you receive support and treatment when it is most convenient.
Telehealth
How do I schedule a telehealth consultation?
Scheduling a telehealth consultation is simple. You can visit our website and find the ‘Get Started’ or ‘Book Appointment’ section. From there, you’ll be guided through selecting a suitable date and time and asked to provide some basic information. Once your appointment is confirmed, you’ll receive instructions on connecting with our medical providers through our secure platform.
Who are our medical providers? Are they licensed?
Our medical providers (Beluga Health Telehealth Network) are licensed healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurse practitioners, experienced in weight management and telehealth services. They are all licensed to practice in their respective states and adhere to the highest medical standards. We ensure that our team is well-qualified to provide you with safe and effective care. You may contact Beluga Health at:
Beluga Health, P.A.,

info@belugahealth.com
How quickly is treatment prescribed?
Once you have completed your telehealth consultation and our medical provider has reviewed your health information, a treatment plan, including any necessary prescriptions, can be established relatively quickly. If medication is deemed appropriate for you, the prescription is typically processed and sent to our partner pharmacy within 24-48 hours. The goal is to get you started on your weight loss journey as safely as possible.
Do you have licensed providers in my state?
Yes – our physician network is available in all states except AK, LA, MA, NH and NM.
Can I talk to a doctor via phone call or video?
Your provider consultation is done by chatting with the doctor via chat in your patient portal. If you are located in New Mexico, Michigan, or Louisiana, you will consult with your provider via live video if we should provide services in the above states. All follow ups with a provider will be conducted via your patient portal chat. We’ll alert you via text any time you have a new message from our medical team.

Can I use my HSA/FSA card?

You can use these cards just like a regular debit card for payment. If needed, we can provide documentation for your records. This option offers flexibility in managing your healthcare expenses. Please ensure your card has sufficient funds to cover the cost of the medication and be aware that some administrators may require expense verification which you may download from your customer portal. If you encounter any issues with your card or need additional information, feel free to send us an email or contact us via the patient portal.

Yes, you can purchase multiple vials at a time. Our injectable and oral compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide medications can be ordered on a month-to-month basis, 3, 6, or 12-month programs.
Why do I have to pay before I'm approved/the medication is shipped?
We request payment during your medical screening to streamline the process, similar to how you pay a copay before seeing a doctor. This ensures we have everything ready for an efficient screening and helps us maintain high service standards. Your payment is secure and fully refundable if our providers determine you’re ineligible. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we aim to provide clear and reliable service throughout your experience.
Do you price match?
While we do not offer price matching, we work hard to keep our medications as affordable as possible. This allows us to maintain consistent pricing across all doses, ensuring you receive the best value for your treatment. Also, make sure to check out special offers and discounts for referrals.
Orders and Shipping
How long does it take to ship my order?
Your prescription will be approved within 24-48 hours, and the pharmacy will process and ship it within 2-3 days. We will email you the tracking information as soon as it becomes available. You can expect to receive your medication within 8-10 business days of signing up, with tracking details provided once your order has shipped.
What is your refund policy?
Our refund policy is once an order is placed and processed, it is non-refundable.
However, if you encounter an issue with your order—such as receiving the wrong item or a damaged product—you should contact customer support promptly. They will assess the situation and determine if a refund or replacement is appropriate.
Can I cancel my order?
When you sign up, you can cancel any time before the doctor finalizes your prescription, unless you’ve selected a multi-month plan. Our standard sign-up process includes month-to-month plans as well as multi-month options. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
Can I request to expedite my order?
Unfortunately, no. Each pharmacy has different processing times, and we can’t guarantee that they can expedite your order. Thank you for your understanding!
Can you send me replacement syringes if ever I accidentally lose or damage the ones that I have?
If you need extra syringes or accidentally damage the ones from the pharmacy, we recommend visiting your local pharmacy or ordering more online.
How do I make a claim for a lost package?
Please report a lost or stolen package through the delivery carrier, and they’ll provide you with a claim ID. Once you have the claim ID, just send it to us, and we can pass it along to the pharmacy to verify and arrange for a replacement.
Can I ask for a medication refill earlier or before my check-in date?
You can check in earlier or later than your scheduled date! Our system will send you a reminder 15 days before your actual check-in date.
How do I track my prescription once it has left the pharmacy?
We will provide tracking details once the pharmacy shares them with us.
My order arrived and the ice packs were warm/ My order was delayed and it's extremely hot outside/ My order has been sitting outside for xx number of hours/days… is it safe to use?
Yes! Our pharmacies have confirmed that compunded semaglutide and tirzepatide can withstand temperatures of up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit for up to 3 days. Keep in mind, that three day period begins after your ice packs have melted, which can take a couple of days.
Why didn't my order ship with ice packs? Is it safe to use?
Semaglutide from certain pharmacies is compounded to be stored at room temperature, so they do not ship their medication with ice packs. Rest assured, it is completely safe to use if shipped this way!

Are your partner pharmacies 503A or 503B designated? How are the pharmacies regulated?
All our pharmacy partners are 503A designated. These traditional compounding pharmacies create customized medications tailored to individual prescriptions and are regulated by state boards. They must adhere to USP standards, and are also subject to specific sections of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FDCA), including requirements for compounding drugs based on valid patient-specific prescriptions.

Can I choose which pharmacy my medications come from?
Our proprietary technology streamlines the pharmacy selection process, choosing the best pharmacy for your medication based on your location, order volume, shipping times, and pricing. This ensures you receive your medication as quickly as possible while keeping our prices low. As a result, we cannot guarantee which specific pharmacy will fulfill your order. We appreciate your understanding!
